About Me

Hello!!! My name is Kevin Measor and welcome to my website.  I am a neuroscientist, a biology professor and aspiring science writer.  I began this website to share my perspective on what is happening in the world of neuroscience, whether it be news, interesting stories, history, or quotes from my favorites scientists.  I’would love to hear what other content people want to see or any comments on the posts so please feel to write me.

I am currently a lecturer in the Biology department at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.  I received my PhD in Neuroscience at the University of California, Riverside where I studied how the brain processes sounds in both bat and mouse models.  I hold Master’s degrees in Biology and Higher Education from Lehman College, and University of Dayton, respectively and also a Bachelor’s in Biology and History from Roger Williams University.  I currently resides in Spokane, WA with the two loves of my life, my wife, Nikki, and my son, Ignatius.  I enjoys birding, reading about science and history, and watching college basketball.
